If you have been getting our emails about the launch for CB Cash Grenade the past week or two at http://www.cbcashgrenade.com you’d understand why I am so grateful this season.
It did get off to a bit of a bumpy start when we tried out a new custom order form but we quickly made the change back to a standard form and sales started going through the roof.
It appears that the lesson here is not to mess with tradition!
Changing the layout form for some people evidently was akin to passing off tofu sculpted in the shape of a turkey instead of a bona fide Tom-Gobbler.
I’m not saying that we were wrong to experiment because you never know what the results will be until you try.
However in this instance, keeping a close eye on the split testing and dropping the new form that obviously was not working, doubled our sales immediately.
So again, I’m grateful to be working with Simon. It is a godsend to have someone capable to work with especially during big launches. So, we can monitor results and take appropriate action 24 hours a day.
While I know it is not part of Simons “National tradition” to celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November I know that “in sprit” at least, he will be joining me at the table at the end of this month, as we gather and give thanks for another incredible year.
Together we now operate over 40 profitable niche memberships’ sites containing 250,000 members. And thus far, we have generated over 10 million dollars in our own membership & affiliate product sales – and counting!
Even some of our free membership sites thankfully are consistently earning over 100K yearly!
Best of all, in this year alone we have been given the opportunity to reach over 25,000 business men and women, to provide instruction for them on how to build a their own successful membership sites!
But like the Pilgrim forefathers who started this tradition of Thanksgiving, our success wasn’t always assured.
It took us, Simon and I, a while to realize and perfect our membership systems, which we now share with you in this membership.
It is important to note that what has kept us going from the very beginning was celebrating with gratitude each of our accomplishments along the way, no matter how small.
This tradition is an important part of the mindset we rely on to catapult us over each new set of obstacles we encounter.
As a business owner yourself, it’s important that you keep a can-do attitude and never allow doubt or self pity in the face of any obstacle to make you feel as though you are not up to the challenge.
That is why I believe that pausing to count your blessings and give thanks is such a huge part of preparing yourself for an even greater success in the future, no matter what time of the year!
However, in November when we most often, think of the Pilgrims who started Thanksgiving, we envision neatly scrubbed children dressed in shinny shoe buckles, and white aprons posing with bountiful cornucopias, fat turkeys, and trusty flared barreled muskets.
When in fact, the first thanksgiving was celebrated by a sickly destitute bunch of political refugees huddled together in a strange land, in a settlement where grave markers from the arduous journey to asylum, outnumbered their crude winter shelters by seven to one!
However, this rag-tag group rather than giving up went on to build a country of over 300 million people, who despite the current economic downturn still enjoy living in the number one, largest economy in the world.
Now, I’m not saying that we have ever had it as hard as the pilgrims but we also haven’t been at the top of the membership world either and it wasn’t so long ago that we have forgotten what it’s like to start from scratch.
Perhaps the lessons learned from our earliest struggles may be the things we should be most thankful for because it was the foundation for instructional material, in the successful membership site, you are now in.
So, while things may look grim in some industries, with staggering unemployment, the weak housing market, bank and corporate bailouts and deficit government spending, opportunities still exist all around us!
Our bottom line is proof of that!
So don’t sweat the small stuff.
Sure, you may indeed find that the person who sold you squares for Thursday’s big game has just absconded with the entire football pool, (treating it like a payday loan they never intended to repay). Your spouse may have maxed out all of your credit cards at the Black Friday sale, and the bill for cleaning cranberry sauce out of your carpet will equal a car payment but there is still much to be thankful about!
For one, you have been wise to make yourself privy to a proven plan to success through joining this membership!
No obstacle will stop you, because your membership site or products & services or affiliate promotions can provide you with the solutions to overcome all of them big or small.
Simon and I are humbled with gratitude that so many of you have chosen to become Members of our sites and we are committed to providing you with the solutions you need even throughout the busy holiday season.
While you are already probably a member of one of our sites, we would like to take a moment to again invite you to the table for a second helping. Enjoy every bit of the smorgasbord of information, tools, and products already inside your membership.
For those who are members of this site, almost any problem you will encounter or questions that you can think to ask, is answered in your membership’s video, audios, and FAQ area.
And as new developments happen, we look forward to keeping you up to date with any and all developments effecting online memberships, through blog posts like this one and via emails so make sure that you check your mail and are still receiving emails in your inbox from Membership Marketing Expert.
(If you’re not a member you can join through special private offers we sometimes have so next time you see one, be sure to check it out.)
Other than that, let me just say before you do anything else, why not stop right now and make a list of the ten top things you are thankful for having. It won’t take long and even if you’re having a terrible day I promise you’ll feel better.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Jeremy Gislason
